With influences from electronic music and progressive rock, the 30-year-old character Léia Skye presents her musical project “Woman Orbit”
.The lyrics of her album, “Let Gravity,” explore cosmic and emotional themes like love and passion, reflecting the singer’s passion for the universe.
The song “Singularity” describes love as the point of origin of life, while “After the Bang” narrates the experience of being abandoned after a relationship that “gave birth” to life. The track “Out of Orbit” explores the feeling of drifting away and losing the connection with a loved one.
“Event Horizon” addresses the dance of a love on the verge of breaking and the hope of “reclaiming the light, defying it all.” “Comet Heart” expresses the desire for the “starlight” of a fleeting love, while “Beating Heart” talks about the hope that a “still-beating heart” can be a beacon for the beloved.
“Love paints the cosmos” describes love as the force that gives color and life to the universe. Lastly, “Starlit Signs” is the expression of an intense and physical attraction, where the singer feels her “inner flame” awakening.
